SUNNYVALE, CA--APRIL 7, 1998--AMD today introduced a 300-megahertz version of the AMD-K6® processor based on 0.25-micron process technology and produced in the company's Fab 25 facility in Austin, Texas.

A 266-megahertz version of the AMD-K6 also is available from Fab 25.

Pricing and Availability
The AMD-K6/300 processor and the AMD-K6/266 processor are available and priced at $246 and $156 respectively in 1,000-unit quantities effective April 15.
